Andrew & Abby
“Andrew is my home. He is the perfect balance of a type B personality to my type A. There is no one else in the world that can make everything better with one hug, make me laugh with one look, or knows exactly what to say. I love his strength and the way that we are both better people together.” -Abby
“Abby was, and still is, way too smart for me. Her big blue eyes and the fact that she liked and understood Star Wars immediately stood out to me. I love her laugh, her eyes, and that she always really cares about others and can always easily empathize with other people.” -Andrew
Every wedding carries a certain amount of weight with it, an underlying tone of sincerity and heaviness that reflects on the seriousness of entering into a marriage covenant. The weight is good, as it’s a reminder that this is a big decision—a lifelong decision. This wedding, you could feel that weight.
These two beautiful people were ready to get married. They’d waited, grown, leaned into one another and God, and were finally at the day they would become one. I cannot adequately write how much joy you could feel overflowing from Andrew and Abby on this day!
As a couple these two included so many personal touches throughout their wedding, from the candles used in their ceremony, to Abby’s necklace, to the music, to the flowers everyone in the wedding party wore. (I’ll dive deeper into these throughout the post.)
Andrew and Abby, thank you again and again for trusting me with your wedding day! You each compliment one another beautifully, and I can already see God using you as a unit to paint a stunning picture of what marriage can be.
