Luxury Destination Wedding Photographer
Just over a year ago I shot my dream wedding—a destination wedding in Seattle, Washington.
I cannot tell you how much of a giant thumbs-up from God that wedding was! Booking that dream wedding, my second wedding EVER, was clearly his way of letting me know that I was on the right track.
Since that wedding my business has grown more in one year than I thought possible. It’s amazing what God has done for this business! The awesome couples I get to work with, the stunning places I’ve been able to travel to, and the incredible weddings I’ve captured (and have yet to capture this year and in 2020!) quite often leave me speechless.
I never got around to sharing these images from our time in Seattle last year, and I thought that now, just before I start my 2019 wedding season, would be the perfect time to finally share them.
These images are special to me for two reasons:
I had wanted to travel to Seattle for years. Years. Since I was a Freshman in college I had dreamed of one day actually visiting there. Not to mention as I grew more and more fascinated with the wedding industry, there was a common theme of me falling in love with a photographer, or a florist, or a wedding planner, and them happening to be located in Seattle. . .that wasn’t planned, I swear! It still happens all the time, haha!
I had no idea how much my business would grow after this wedding. I had now idea how many blessings God had planned for me, Jackson, and this business. I had no idea of what was ahead, and I still don’t. I believe God still has blessings and surprises ahead for us and this business, and these pictures are a visual reminder of that! I’m reminded of where I was, how I felt, and what I thought I knew a year ago. It’s amazing what can happen in a year. Just imagine what could happen in the next 12 months!
I am so grateful for this business and the people I get to work with. As I look ahead to the 2019 wedding season and look back at where I was 12 months ago, preparing for this Seattle wedding with all the nerves in the world, I am amazed.
Thank you Lord for blessing this business so abundantly. Thank you to my clients for trusting me. I cannot wait to see where this coming wedding season takes us!
